For generations, Gargeayi has preserved the art of Indian textile heritage — weaving together the finest silk, gold zari, and handblock traditions into garments that transcend time.
What began as a single workshop in Mehrauli has grown into a studio practice spanning five states — each region contributing its own thread tradition. We do not mass-produce. Every collection is limited to what our karigars can hand-finish with full attention.
Our founder, Saraswati Gargeayi, trained under master weavers in Varanasi before returning to Delhi with a singular conviction: that Indian textiles deserved the same reverence as any European couture house. That conviction has guided every decision since.
Today the second generation carries the practice forward — preserving the original standards while bringing Gargeayi to women who wear heritage as a living thing, not a museum piece.
